My name is Lacey, and I’ve had this evolving vision that I’ve been holding close to my heart, tending to, preparing to share with the world. It's been a long incubation period (years!) full of ideating, learning, reflecting, training, and doing my own work.
The word fitness often evokes ideas of exercising or restrictive dieting, but I’d like to posit that being truly and holistically “fit” involves our whole being as well as our ~ways of~ being.
The truth is: every aspect of our health is interconnected. True well-being, true fitness, is an intricate dance of mind, body, and spirit.
Those who know me understand how important mental health is to me, and I feel it is an essential piece to include in one’s health journey.
So is nutrition, self-love, deeper awareness, and movement that’s uniquely and specifically aligned with your goals, and deep reflection around which habits are serving you or stunting you.
My goal here is to:
1. Share useful, reliable information that empowers you to make informed health decisions
2. Offer tools, tips, techniques that support your health evolution
3. Be a loving and supportive guide for you along the way
4. Offer guided 1:1 and group support
5. Answer any questions you may have
I’ve been passionate about the many facets of health since my early teen years. Ironically, I lost all connection with my health (physical and mental) during my college years when I was studying psychology and biology as a pre-med student. I was learning all about health while being the antithesis of it. 😅
Driven by the relentless pursuit of perfect grades, I convinced myself I had:
👉 No time for exercise
👉 No time to prepare real, nourishing meals
👉 No time for mindfulness or self-care
I sacrificed my well-being in the name of academics and a social life, and my body protested this neglect—my joints ached, my muscles withered, and I was constantly sick.
My mental health mirrored my physical state, as I danced between depression and anxiety. As someone deeply passionate about physical and mental well-being, I longed for a life that honored both, but it felt out of reach.
Our culture glorifies the relentless hustle, often at the expense of our individual health. We live in a constant state of busyness, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected from ourselves.
We carry immense burdens and need time and space to process them, to reconnect with our inner selves, and to remember what it feels like to embody true health and fitness.
These concepts reach far beyond the shallow narratives of dieting and weight loss, transcending the treadmill grind.
They are about nurturing ourselves, our bodies, and our spirits.
When I returned to school for a graduate medicine program, I discovered a profound resonance with the concept of preventative and regenerative health.
As I reconnected with a healthy lifestyle, I wondered how I could rebrand fitness to include a holistic approach—one that extends beyond the physical.
I've spent the last decade studying areas like psychology, medicine, exercise, nutrition, psychedelic and plant medicine, yoga, and overall wellness.
As a devoted yoga teacher, fitness instructor, psychedelic preparation and integration provider, and holistic health coach, I am passionate about nurturing embodied wellness to support personal and community healing. With a grounded and compassionate approach, I offers safe, supportive classes and events that cultivate deeper body awareness, an intimate connection with the breath, and access to the inner Self.
I am always calling in the alignment of mind, body, and soul, empowering students to integrate awareness and balance into their daily lives. Drawing from her training in vinyasa, gentle yoga, primal flow, fitness modalities, trauma-informed principles, and holistic health practices, my intention s to create a nurturing space where students can explore and grow. As an advocate for autonomy, liberation, and expression, I love creating opportunities for students to explore what feels good in their bodies within each pose, helping them connect to their intuition and trust their body's wisdom.
With love and reverence for psychedelics and sacred medicines, I als lend my support to projects promoting the ethical education of psychedelics, such as LAMPS, Entheonation, and EPIC. I've supported community programs offering education around psychedelics and plant medicines, including large online summits and regularly occurring workshops. I also help hold community conversations with EPIC, the Ethical Psychedelic International Community, where individuals can process experiences of ethical misconduct. As the Program Manager at The Plant Spirit School, I oversee the Psychedelic Integration Coach Certification Program and support students along their transformational journey toward becoming safe and competent integration providers.
My mission is to guide and support you on a journey towards deeper awareness, self love and trust, comprehensive health and embodied wholeness that honors your unique path.
